Our cellar door experience offers a guided, seated tasting of our premium wines and handcrafted spirits, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Southern Forests. Enjoy a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, local produce, and the chance to explore everything Ampersand Estates and Rainfall Distillery have to offer, in a reserved sitting kept just for your group.

Cellar Door Wine Tasting Experience

$50 per person, complimentary for Ampersand members and all-inclusive estate guests.

Discover the essence of Ampersand Estates through a guided, seated tasting of up to eight wines and spirits, from our current releases to the small-batch Homestead Collection.

Your host will guide you through the unique cool-climate character of the Pemberton Wine Region in the Southern Forests, the craftsmanship behind each release, and the philosophy that shapes every Ampersand wine. The flight moves from approachable estate favourites through to limited releases from the Homestead Range, showcasing the depth and complexity only small-batch winemaking can offer.

This relaxed yet considered experience suits first-time visitors and long-time collectors alike: an informative introduction for those new to the estate, and a deeper look at our winemaking philosophy for those returning. Add an artisanal grazing board to your table to round out the experience.

Seatings run from 11am to 4pm, and are kept deliberately small to ensure a calm, personal tasting rather than a crowded pour.

Rainfall Spirits Tasting

Experience a guided, seated tasting of Rainfall Spirits, where every handcrafted gin and vodka is infused with fresh, locally sourced botanicals from the Southern Forests.

Your host will guide you through the story behind each spirit, from the rainwater at the heart of every batch to the botanicals foraged and grown around the distillery. The tasting moves from bright, aromatic gins to smooth, characterful vodkas, each one reflecting the essence of the region and the craft behind the still.

Whether you’re new to spirits tastings or already know your way around a gin, it’s a relaxed and considered introduction to Rainfall’s range. Add an artisanal grazing board to your table to make the most of your visit.
