Yeagurup Dunes
Yeagarup, hidden deep in the Karri Forest of Pemberton is a unique, serene picnic destination perfect for the entire family. Filled with fun things to do such as; walks through the national park, sand boarding on the Yeagarup dunes and swimming/canoeing in the large lake, it is a site that is not to be missed! The Yeagarup lake, which serves as natures gateway to the dunes, offers picnic sites and a large boardwalk that stretches onto the water.
The awe-inspiring Yeagarup Dunes emerge suddenly out of the Karri forest, a stark white contrast to the dense green forest Pemberton is known for. The site is a refreshing change from the local national parks and takes you on an unforgettable adventure through rich history right down to the coast line.
This location is only accessible via four-wheel drive and is suited for experienced drivers, to go on a guided adventure through the dunes, check out Pemberton Discovery Tours in the tour section of our information guide.
