Taking you deep into the heart of the Pemberton forest, Heartbreak trail is the most scenic, memorable tourist drive in all of Pemberton. It is a 12km drive that winds through the beautiful Karri forest and takes you along the Warren River. You can get off at the infamous ‘Drafty’s Campsite’ to walk along the rivers tracks, whilst swimming isn’t advised, it is the perfect destination to bring a canoe or kayak and take a trip down the river. The ‘Warren Lookout’ at the top of the Heartbreak Trail is also well worth adding into your trip to the trail. It overlooks the winding Warren river in a magnificent valley of Karri trees and on a clear day, provides a view right to the beaches of Yeagarup!
