GETTING FROM SINGAPORE TO PEMBERTON
Qantas, Singapore Airlines and Scoot all offer direct flights from Singapore to Perth which takes approximately five hours, multiple times a day. Prices range from $500.00 – $1,200.00 per person for adults. It is worth noting that June – August are slightly more expensive to fly this route, but if you travel in May you’ll benefit from the cooler weather with more affordable flights.
When you arrive at Perth International Airport, hire a car and drive to Busselton, one of the State’s most stunning and charming coastal towns. Busselton is a 3-hour drive from Perth with many stops along the way, we would recommend a pit-stop at Bunbury Farmer’s Markets to pick up some gorgeous fresh produce. Fresh sushi, baked goods, pressed juices, fruits and vegetables, antipasto plates, pre-packed dinners and many more delicious finds can be procured at this popular road-trip stop-off.
In Busselton, we would recommend finding accommodation at the new Hilton Garden Hotel on the beach with views of the Southern Hemisphere’s longest jetty. You can walk a few hundred metres to Shelter Brewery for a hearty meal and sample some of WA’s most popular brews at the bar. The jetty area of Busselton has several delicious dining options, so you won’t be short for options if you find accommodation here.
Wake up fresh the next morning and once you have a morning coffee and delicious baked treat (we recommend Claudio Bakehouse for the best selection and quality) hit the road and drive the remaining 1 hour to Ampersand Estates.
STAYING AT AMPERSAND ESTATE
Ampersand Estates offers three luxury residences for our guests.
The Homestead and Vintner’s Residence can host up to 10 guests with five bedrooms (king size beds) each with their own ensuite bathroom. Featuring wraparound decks, you’ll have views of the Karri tree forest, the entire estate and the lake. Each residence offers fully-equipped farmhouse style kitchens so you can stay in and make meals if you don’t feel like venturing out. Expansive living and dining areas make these residences feel like home, allowing you to spend quality time with each other around the fireplaces. Relax with a glass of wine and take in the world class natural surroundings or have a barbeque on the deck under the night sky. Settlers’ Cottage sleeps up to four guests with two bedrooms and offers the same facilities on a smaller scale to the other residences. It is suited well to couples and small families.
WHAT WE DO
Either when waiting for check-in or when you have a free couple of hours, make a booking at our cellar door on the Estate. Wine tastings are complimentary for all in-house guests, and we recommend also indulging in our Rainfall spirits flight as well. Spend your time sitting back with premium wines and spirits, a gourmet platter and views of the ducks and geese swimming serenely on the lake.
If you love a gourmet food experience, let us book you in for a truffle hunt. Pemberton and Manjimup truffles are the best in the country and a truffle hunt is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We can also book you in for a gourmet lunch after your day of hunting.
The Pemberton Wine Region is home to world-class natural surrounds, and we encourage you to see as many of them as possible. Beedelup Falls is a must, where you can take in the falls and complete a gorgeous walk through the national park.
For something very different, book a tour to Yeagurup Dunes and enjoy a gourmet picnic on the golden expanse of sand that overlooks forests and dells.
For those looking for a little more action, Pemberton Aerial Adventure Park is full of exciting outdoor options to keep you busy whilst offering stunning views of the Karri tree canopies. This is also a great option for families with slightly older children.
For younger children, Fonty’s Pool is a charming and pretty venue that will keep the little ones entertained for hours.

Ampersand Estates can put together breakfast, lunch and dinner hampers that can keep your hunger and tastebuds at bay whilst you adventure around the region.
If you’re looking for a more elevated experience, we offer our in-house Chef to cook a private degustation dinner for you at your Residence. This menu can be paired with Ampersand wines as well on request.
If you’d like to get out of the house and explore some dining options in the local towns, Jasper’s in Pemberton comes highly recommended by us and Pemberton locals. Treehouse Tapas and Wine bar as well as Karri Valley Resort are also popular options.
